Nathan was a funloving 16 year old who was full of adventure. Nathan, who had Down Syndrom, wondered away from his sister and family friends suite at a Professional Basketball Game. He wondered out into the dark and onto the highway and was hit by a car. Pam Vredevelt didn’t expect to receive a phone call that night, rushing to the hospital before Nathan’s surgery. Nathan died four hours later.
